Milky juice and bark.

Constituents:

Bark and young buds contain tannin Wax and caoutchouc.

Action:

Bark is Tonic, Alterative and Demulcent. Milky Juice is Aphro disiac, Demulcent and Refrigerant. Root is Astringent.

Uses:

Milky juice and seeds are useful as externar application for pain and bruises, sores and ulcers. An infu-sion of the bark has specific properties in reducing blood sugars in diabetes, dysentry and diarrhoea. Tender ends of the hanging roots can be given for obstinate vomiting-Slender twigs of the tree is good for brushing tooth and strengthens gums and teeths.

பழங்களிலிருந்தும், விதைகளிலிருந்தும் எடுக்கப்பட்டச் சாறு எல்லாவிதமான தோல் நோய்களுக்கும் பயன்படுத்தப் படுகின்றது. இதன் விழுதைக் கொண்டு பல் துலக்க, பற்கள் கெட்டிப்படும். அவ்விழுதிலுள்ள முனைகளைக் கடித்து, மென்றுச் சாப்பிட வாய்புண் ஆறும். ஆலம் விழுது என்னக் காரணத்தால் வாத்தி ஏற்பட்டாலும் தடுத்து நிறுத்தும். இதனைக் கஷாயமாகச் செய்துச் சாப்பிட வேண்டும். மற்றும் விளாமிச்சை, நாவல் இயை ஆகியவையும் சேர்த்து குடிநீராக்கிக் கொடுத்தால் குழந்தைகளின் பலவிதமான குடல் கோளாறுகளை நீக்கும்.

விழுகின் முனைகளைக் கஷாயம் செய்துச் சாப்பிட சீதபேதி: யும் வயிற்றுப் போக்கும் கட்டுப்படும்.
