Action:

Stimulant, Carminative, Cholagogue Deobstruent, Aphrodisiac.

Uses: 

 The decoction made out of ‘its’ bark is used in the treatment of headache, heaviness in the head and as nerve stimulant tonic. It is also used as an analgesic, antir-heumatic medicine. It is used as an ideal medicine for hyper-emisis. (Severe Vomiting).

இதன் சுட்டையிலிருந்து எடுக்கப்படும் கஷாயத்தினால் தலைவலி, தலைபாரம் நீங்கும். தளர்ந்த தேகத்தையும் நரம்புத் தளர்ச்சியையும் குணப்படுத்தும். இக்கட்டையின் சூரணம் உட் கொள்ள தாது விருத்தியாகும் உடலில் உள்ள ஆயாசம் ஒழியும். பசி உண்டாகும். உணவில் ருசி தரும். மேலும் இதை உட்கொள்வ தால், காயம், புண் ஆகியவைகளினால் ஏற்படும் வலிக்கு நிவாரணம் கிடைக்கும். மூட்டுவலி நீங்கும். இடைவிடாத வாந்தியை நிறுத்தும். அகில் சுட்டையை நீரிலிட்டு சந்தனம் போல் அரைத்து உடலில் பூசிக்கொண்டு வர தளர்ந்த தேகம் இறுகும். அகிற்கட்டை தைலத்தை முடித்தைலமாக உபயோகப்படுத்த நீர்க்கோவை, மேகம், பீநிசம் முதலிய நோய்கள் நீங்கும்.
