 whole plant is used in medicinal preparation. The extract of the plant cures dryness of the mouth piles and all rhumatic problems. This herb contains “kerotene” which helps the hair growth, so this could tonic also, be used as a hair

சிவதை செடியைப் போல இதுவும் ஒரு காட்டுக் கொடியாகும். இதுதோலாட்சி, மூலகடுப்பு, சகல வாத நோய்களுக்கான மருந்து ளாய் பயனாகிறது. முடிவருவதற்குரிய கரோட்டின் சத்து இதன் வேரில் இருப்பதால் இதனைக் கொண்டு தைலம் காய்ச்சி தலைக்குத் தடவி முடியை வளர்க்கலாம்.

தற்போதைய ஆய்வின்படி செடியின் சாரங்கள் மூட்டுவலி ரோகங்களிலும் பயனளிக்கிறது.
