Action:

Leaves and root are used in Piles, Gonorrhoea. Anti-soud, Diuretic Aphrodisiac. It is also styptic Resolvent and Analgesic.

Uses:

Root of these weeds held in great reputine treatment of rheumatism. The mucilage of the stems are employed as demulcents and emollients both for external and internal used. With pepper it acts as a febrifuge. It is also used in scorpionsting.

இது ஒரு சிறிய செடி, மஞ்சள் பூக்கள் இலைக்கொன்றாக பூக்கும். கிணற்று ஓரங்களிலும், நீர்ப்பகுதிகளிலும் விளையும்.

வெட்டுக் காயத்திற்கு கட்ட ரணம் சீழ் பிடிக்காமல் ஆறும். இதன் சாற்றுக்கு இரத்தத்தை உறையச் செய்யும் பண்பு உண்டு. இதன் பூக்களை கஷாயம் வைத்து வாயில் இரத்தம் வடிதலுக்கு கொப்பளிக்க பயன்படுத்தலாம். இதன் இலைகளை அரைத்து மூட்டு வலிக்குப் பற்றிடலாம்.
