Uses :

The dates are small less sweet and a good astringent. Spirit made from this fruit is used as an intoxi -cating drink like toddy. Root is used in toothache and nervous debility. Central tender part of the plant is useful in gonorrhoea.

இதன் பழம் கறுப்பாக சிறியதாக இருக்கும். இதை ஊற வைத்து கால்நடைகளுக்கு உணவாகக் கொடுப்பார்கள். மேற் தோலை அரைத்து புற்றுமண் கலந்து புண்களுக்குப் பற்றிடு வார்கள். மரத்தின் ;உச்சியில் இருக்கும் வெண்டுருத்தை வெட்டை நீங்க பயன்படுத்துவார்கள். மேலும் இதன் வேர் பல்லவியையும், நரம்புத் தளர்ச்சியையும் குணப்படுத்தும்.
