Laxative, Alterative and Vermifuge.

Uses:

The plant is used in anti-leprosy drug. The paste of this plant is used as an external application to the ulcer of leprosy patients which gives very good relief. If taken internally it acts as laxative. The extract mixed with pungam oil is used as ideal application for the skin ailments including psoriasis. The extract of the plant is also used in anti-diabetic and anti-hypertensive drugs.

இது புற்றுதோய் மருந்துகளில் பயனாகும் ஒரு செடியாகும். இதையரைத்து வதக்கி புற்றுநோயின் புண்களில் கட்ட புற்று நோய் வேகமாக குணப்படும். உள்ளுக்கு கொடுக்க மலக்கட்டை நீக்கும்.

கரப்பான் போன்ற தோல் நோய்களுக்கு இதன் சாற்றை புங்க எண்ணெயில் கலந்து கொதிக்கவிட்டு ஆற வைத்து யாவிக்கலாம். தவிர பிரமேக மருந்துகளில் பயன்படுத்தலாம்.
