Uses:
It is used in medicines and magic, The leaves of the plant are used in cases suppression of urine, chest pain, anacola, especially of “vatha” type. There is also another species called pierdouts. It consolidates mercury.
Fresh juice of the leaves is dropped into the eyes in chronie purulent discharges. The devastion of dried herb given as an anthelmintic and also in dysentery and chronic uterme discharges. It is particularly useful in the disease of the nose called “Ahwah” peculiar to Bengal, and accompanied by strong fever, heaviness in the head, pain in the neck, shoulders and joints.
இதன் கற்பூர எண்ணெய் மணம் வீசும். இது இடிந்த சுவர்களின் மீது வளரும். இத இதன் இலையானது நீர்க்கட்டு, மார்பு நோய், வாத சோபை இவைகளைப் போக்கும். இது ரசத்தை கட்டும் காய சித்தி. மூலிகையாகும். புற்றுநோய் உள்ளவர்கள் உட்கொள்ள நோய் முற்றாமல் குணமாகும்.
