These lichens contain a yellow crystalline, stuff, gum, sugar extractive, lichenin and chrysophanic acid
Action :
They are Bitter. Febrifuge, Astringent.. Resolvent, Emollient, Demulcent and Diuretic.
Uses :
This belongs to the family of Lichens, Indiges tion, headache, chronic venereal disorders could be treated with this. It regulates urination. It corrects menstural cycle in women. This also could be used in cooking to add taste.
இது லைகன் (Lichens) வகையைச் சேர்த்ததாகும். இதனால் அதிகாரம், நீடித்த மேகம்,தலைவலி முதலியவை குணமாகும். தடைப்பட்ட சிறுநீரை வெளியாக்கும். பெண்களுக்கு மாதவிடாய் சமயம் தோன்றும் நோய்களுக்கு மருந்தாகும். சிலர் இதனை உணவில் ருசிக்காக சேர்ப்பார்கள்.
