Diaphoretic. Alterative and Diuretic.

Uses:

Root is useful in treating the itching of the skin. It is used in the form of paste to aid the extraction of guinea-worm.

Paste with Basil juice is also employed as a cure for itchy skin eruptions. The drug is also used in scorpion sting.

Fruit, rubbed over the head is useful in baldness.

இது கிடைப்பதரிது.இதன் வேருக்கு பொடியிருமல், நீர்க் கோவை, கபாதிக்கம், அரோசகம் ஆகியவற்றைப் போக்கும் குணம் உண்டு. இதன் வேரை கஷாயமிட்டுச் சாப்பிட மூத்திரக்கட்டை உடைத்து நீரைப் பிரிக்கும். இதன் சாற்றைப் பசும் பாலில் சர்க்கரை விட்டுக் கொடுக்க சுரம், சொறி சிரங்கு போகும். இதன் காயை நசுக்கிக் கட்டிகளுக்கு வைத்துக் கட்ட பழுத்து உடையும்.

பெருங்காஞ்சொறி எங்கும் அருமையாய் கிடைக்கும். இதன் வேருக்கு காசம், சுவாசம். கபசுரம் ஆகியவற்றைப் போக்கும் குணமுண்டு.
