Uses:
This purifies the blood, gives strength and vitality. This gives a very good taste and induces appetite. This is found effective in intestinal disorders. This increases salivary secretion. If it is consumed 4 times a week it works as an aphrodisiac. The oil extracted from its seed is used as anthelmintic.
இது எல்லா கீரைகளிலும் சிறந்ததனால் இப்பெயர் வந்தது. சக்கரவர்த்திக் கீரையை அரைக்கீரையுடன் ஒப்பிடலாம். இதனை உட்கொள்ளுதலால் இரத்தம் விருத்தியாகும், தாது பெருக்கும். உடலுக்கு சக்தியையும் அழகையும் கொடுக்கும்.
இக்கீரை நாவிற்கு உருசியை ஊட்டிப் பசியைத் தூண்ட அல்லது, கிராணி என்ற வயிற்றுப்போக்கு நோய்க்கு இக்கீரை கண் கண்ட மருந்தாகும். சிறுநீர் கழிக்க வழியின்றி அவதிபடுவோர் இத் வேரயைப் பயன்படுத்தலாம். உடலுறளிற்கு நல்ல சக்தியை தரும். வாரத்திற்கு, நான்கு நாட்கள் இக்கீரையை உணவுடன் சேர்த்து உண்டு வருவதினால் உடலூறலில் விருப்பமும் ஆர்வமும் பெருகும் இதன் விதையிலிருந்து எடுக்கப்படும். எண்ணெய் குடலில் தோன்றும் கொக்கிப் புழு, நாக்குப்பூச்சி ஆகியவற்றை அழிக்கும். இக்கீரையை தொடர்ந்து உண்பதனால் ஞாபக சக்தி அதிகரிக்கும்.
