Action:

Astringent. Antisyphilitic. Demulcent, Sedative and Alterative.

Uses:

This medicinal plant stops chronic diarrhoea with phlegm and mucous. It is also found effective in inferti-lity, syphilitic eczema etc. This could be used as decoction an application in the form of paste. Dropsy and other skin silments are also treated with this plant.

குருவிச்சிப் பூண்டு சீத ரத்த கிராணி. மலடு. சிலேஷ்ம மேகம், விஷமாந்தம், கரப்பான் முதலிய நோய்களை குணப் படுத்தும். கஷாயம் வைத்தும், அரைத்து பற்றாகவும் போடலாம்.

மேலும் இது பெண்மலடு, பாண்டு, மேசு சுரப்பான் போன்ற நோய்களை குணமாக்கும். இதன் கஷாயத்தை அருந்த சீதபேதி குணமாகும்.
