Constituents:

Leaves contain muscilage, a little solid fat and a resin

Action:

Leaves are Refrigerant, Demulcent, Emetic, Purgative, Emmenagogue and Abhortive, Root is Astringent, seeds are Corrective of blood and Abhortifacient.

Uses:

The plant extract is used to abhort early preg-nancy. Reduces bile secretion. The seed is of medicínal value which purifies the blood and cures stomach ache.

இதன் சமூலம் இளம்! கர்ப்பத்தை கலைக்கும். பித்தம் தணிக் கும். இது ரத்தத்தை சுத்தம் செய்வதுடன் வயிற்றுவலியை குணப் படுத்தும். இதன் விதை மருத்துவப்பயனுடையது. இதன் வேர் கைப்புச் சுவையுடையது.
