Action :

Highly purgative.

Uses:

This exhibits the same property as white variety. This is used as an antidote for rat bites and cures dyspepsia due to bilious causes. If mixed with myrobalan and taken internally it cures dropsy and ascites. This is purgative.

வெண் சிவதையின் குணங்களே இதற்கும் உண்டு. இது எலிக் கடி விஷம், பித்தத்தினால் நேர்ந்த குன்மம் இவைகளைப் போக்கும்” இதை கடுக்காயோடு சேர்த்துக் கொடுக்க பாண்டு வகை அல்லது மகோதரம் போகும்.

காரமும் கைப்புமுடைய இதுமிகுந்த கழிச்சலையுண்டாக்கும்.
