Gum is Vulnerary and Anthelmintic. Bark is Febrifuge.
Uses:
The latex of this tree is bactericidal. The gum boiled with oil is applied externally on ulcers of the skin. The decoction of the bark reduces the fever, it is bitter in taste.
இதன் பால் கிருமிகளை போக்கும். புண்புரைகளை ஆற்றும். இப்பிசினை எண்ணெயுடன் சேர்த்துக் காய்ச்சி இரணங்களுக்கும் புண்களுக்கும் பூச குணமடையும். இதன் பட்டை கஷாயம் சுரத்தைக் கண்டிக்கும். பட்டை கசப்புச்சுவையுடையது.
