Uses:

Juice of the leaves cures gingivitis, pimples. opthalmia, wounds, sores, boils, stings of scorpion, otheri poisonous bites, herpes, eczema, etc. It is used as an externa application.

The infusion of the leaves and flowers if used as mouth wash gives relief from throat pain and throat ulcers. Decoction of the leaves if consumed cures skin diseases. Decoction of its unripened fruit reduces wheezing.

பெருந்தேள்கொடுக்கியின் இலைச்சாறு பல்லீறை கெட்டிப் படுத்தும். மேலும் முகப்பரு, கண்ணோய், விரணப்புண், கட்டி தேள்கடி, பூச்சிக்கடி, கருங்கிரந்தி, கரப்பான் இவைகளுக்குப் பூச குணம் தரும்.

இதன் இலையையும் பூவையும் குடிநீராக்கி வாய் கொப்பளிக்க. தொண்டைப்புண், தொண்டைவலி போகும். இதன் கஷாயத்தை உள்ளுக்கு சாப்பிட சருமநோய்கள் விலகும். இலைச் சாற்றைக் காதில் பிழிய சீழ்வடிதலும், கண்ணிலிட கண்சிவப்பும் மாறும். காயைக் கஷாயமிட்டுக் கொடுக்க இரைப்பு நோய் குணமாகும்.

தேள் கொட்டிய நஞ்சு நீங்க கொட்டிய வாயில் இலைச் சாற்றைப் பூசலாம்.
