Constituents:
A Bitter glucoside pitsosporin and an essential eil.
Action:
Bark is Bitter. Expectorant, Febrifuge. Narcotic and Aromatic. Leaves are Bacteriricidal.
Uses:
Leaves are very sour and it is used as bactericidal. The fruit is purgative, bus it is used in treating skin
diseases, herpes, and eczema. This also cures rheumatism. Bark is used as an antidote to snake bite. Bark is also used to cure skin diseases.
நஞ்சுண்டை இலைகள் புளிப்பாகவும், கிருமியைக் கொல்லும் தன்மை வாய்ந்ததாகவுமிருக்கும். காய் பேதியையுண்டாக்கும். மேலும் சருமநோய்கள், கிரந்தி, கரப்பானுக்கு குணம் தரும். வாத நோய் நீக்கும். இதன் பட்டை பாம்புக்கடி விஷத்தை இறக்கும். இது பல சரும நோய்களை குணப்படுத்தும்
