Uses:

It is a red variety of Indian burs. It is a rejuvenating plant. It is effective than the white Indian burs. This gives relief from dropsy and menstrual disorders. The decoction of its ash gives relief in anuresis and acts as diuretic. Infusion of the root cures abdominal disorders. This gives strength and cures gonorrhoea, diseases of the lungs and eye disorders

சிவப்பு நாயுருவி எனப்படும் இது ஓர் கற்பமூலிகை. இது நாயுருவியைவிட வீரியம் அதிகமுடையது. இதனால் ஏறு வீக்கம், பாண்டு. மாதாந்திர ஒழுக்கில் ஏற்படும் சிக்கல்கள் ஆகியவை போகும்.

நாயுருவியை பயன்படுத்தும் எல்லா வழக்குகளிலும் இதனை பயன்படுத்தலாம். இதன் சமூலத்தைக் கஷாயமிட்டு அல்லது 1 டம்ளர் வரையிலும் கொடுத்து வந்தால் நீர்க்கட்டு உடைந்து சிறுநீர் பெருகும். இதன் வேர் ஊறல் கஷாயம் வயிற்றுநோய்களை குணப்படுத்தும். மேலும் தளர்ந்த உடலைத் தேற்றும். மேசு ஒழுக்கு, நுரையீரல் வியாதிகள், கண், காது நோய்களை குணமாக்கும்.
