Uses :
Stickes of the plant and leaves are of many medicinal uses. The decoction of this cures flatulence, dengue fever, bilious giddiness in children. If given to adults it cures chronic dysentery, fever, cold ete. If it is taken as ‘Arishta it cures dyspepsia and strengthen alimentary canal.
நிலவேம்பின் உலர்ந்த குச்சியும், இலையும் பல மருத்துவப் பயன்களையுடையது.இதன் கஷாயத்தை குழந்தைகளுக்குக் கொடுக்க வயிற்றுவலி, வயிற்றுப் பொறுமல், வாதசுரம், பித்த மயக்கம் இவைகள் குணமாகும். பெரியவர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்க நாள் பட்ட சீதபேதி, சுரதோஷம், நீர்க்கோவை ஆகியவை குணமாகும். பிற கடைச்சரக்குகளுடன் கொடுக்க சுரத்தை குணமாக்கும். இதை
