Bark is Astringent, Febrifuge. Expectorant, Nervine Tonic, Carminative and Aromatic.

Uses:

Bark leaves and latex of this tree exhibits medicinal properties. Infusion of bark and the leaves are excellent remedy to treat debility after child birth. This also cures dysentery. This gives relief in asthma. Infusion of the bark cures nervous debility. This also cures dyspepsia due to constipation.

உட்கொள்வதால், சீதபேதி, அதிசாரம் நீங்கும். ஆஸ்துமாவுக்கு குணமளிக்கும். இதனால் திரேக வலிமையுண்டாகும். மேலும் நரம்புத்தளர்ச்சி தீரும்.
