Action:

Seeds are Aphrodisiac and stop nasal bleeding. Roots are Poisonous.

Uses:

The fresh and dried seeds of this herb is edible. This increases phlegmatic, rheumatic and bilious disorders. If taken in large quantity induces diarrhoea. Seeds are ground in water if applied on warts cures them.

மொச்சை, இது கடைகளில் இடைக்கும். இதில் நாட்டு மொச்சை, பாம்பு மொச்சை என இரண்டு வகை உண்டு.

மொச்சைக் காயினால் திரிதோஷம், வாதம், ஷீண மலம் இவைகள் விருத்தியாகும்.மிகுதியான சூடும் தணியும்.., மொச்சைக்

கொட்டையினால் திரிதோஷங்களும், இரைச்சலும் தருகின் ஆவிருத வாயுவையும் உண்டாக்கும். இதை வேகவைத்துப் பெரும்பாலும் பதார்த்த வகைகளுடன் சமைத்துண்ணலாம்.

மொச்சையை உரைத்துப் பாலுண்ணி முதலியவற்றின் மீது பூசிவர அவைகள் மறையும்.
