Uses:

This is a small tree. The bark is bitter, tonic and of many medicinal value. The decoction of the root cures dysentery and diarrhoea.

இது சிறு மரமாகும். இதன் பட்டை மருத்துவப் பயனுடையது. இது கைப்புச் சுவையுடையது. உடலை உரமாக்கும். இதன் பட்டைக் கஷாயம் சீதபேதி, பேதி ஆகியவற்றை நிறுத்தும்.
