Constituent:

Fruit contains volatile essential oil.

Action:

Aromatic, Carminatiue, Stomachic, Stimulant, Diuretic and Excpectorant.

Uses:

The fruit is imported from China. It given in the treatment of indigestion, loss of appetite, etc. Oil of the fruit, if applied to the abdomen of the children, relieve colicy pain. The dried flowers is used to check vomiting.

இது இறக்குமதி செய்யப்படும் கடைச்சரக்காகும். மாந்தம். அஜீரணம், புளியேப்பம் நிவர்த்திக்கும். உணவிற்கு வாசனை தரும். காய்ந்த இப்பூவை பொடி செய்து  ½ கிராம் முதல் 1 கிராம் எடை வீதம் நாள் ஒன்றுக்கு மூன்று முறை உட்கொள்ள நல்ல பசியை உண்டாக்கும். வாந்தியை நிறுத்தவும் இதைப் பயன்படுத்தலாம். இதன் கஷாயம் உடல் வனப்பிற்கு உகந்தது.
