Uses:

Decoction of the wood is used in chronic or acute diarrhoea especially in children. It is also used douche in leucorrhoea. Wood oil is applied over carbuncle to reduce the amount of its discharge.

சீமைசப்பங்கம் என்னும் இது கூறப்படுகிறது. இம்மரத்தின் வைரம் சிவப்பாயிருக்கும். இது வாசனையாகவும் தித்திப்பாகவும் துவர்ப்புடனும் இருக்கும். குழந்தைகளின் விடாபேதியும், வெள்ளை ஒழுக்குக்கும் இதன் கஷாயம் அருந்த குணப்படும். இதிலிருந்து எடுக்கப்படும் தைலம் பிளவையை குணப்படுத்த பயன்படும்.
