Constituents:

The fresh vegtiable contains moisture, and the dried material contains albuminolds, Soiudie carbo-hydrates, Woody fibre and ath respectively.

Action:

 Stomachic, Diuretic, Astringent. Sedative. Anttbillous, Hepatic and Tonic.

Uses:

This small herb if taken along with food acts an liver tonic and as an appetizer. This gives relief in intestinal gas and cures chest conjestion. This also checks diarrhoea and dysentery.

சுக்காங்கீரை எல்லா இடங்களிலும் வளரும் சிறுசெடி. இதை உணவில் சேர்த்துக் கொள்ள கல்லீரலுக்கு வலிவைத் தந்து பசித்தீப னத்தை பெருக்கும். சூட்டினாலுண்டாகும் வாயுத் தொல்லையை தீர்க்கும். நெஞ்செரிச்சலை குணப்படுத்தும். மேலும் வெப்பால் உண்டான கழிச்சல், குருதிக்கழிச்சல் போன்றவற்றை நிறுத்தும்.
