This is a tree with small yellow flowers. Oillis extracted from its flowers. Root is a remedy for snake bite, rat bites and for scorpion sting.

நாக சண்பகம் எனப்படும் சொர்ணப்பட்டி மஞ்சள் நிறப் பூவையுடையது. இதன் பூவிலிருந்து ஒருவிதமான எண்ணெய் எடுப்பர். இதன் வேரானது பாம்புக்கடி, எலிக்கடி போன்ற ” விசக் கடிகளுக்கு சிறந்த மருந்தாகும்.
