Leaves and Fruits are Stimulant, Cathartic and Diaphoretic. Gum is Emmenagogue. Berries are Purgative.

Uses:

The fruit and leaves are used medicinally. Gum. found in this plant contains hedicsin. This is used in the electuaries which are used as aphrodisiac.

இதன் கோந்து “ஹெடிக்ஸின்” சத்து உள்ளது. தாது புஷ்டி லேகியங்களில் சேர்க்கப்படுகிறது.
