Stimulant, Carminative, Anodyne, Diuretic, Sedative and Aromatic.

Uses:

This is found in the forest. This is a tree with two seeds in a fruit. Fruit is red in colour and the seeds are white in colour. This cures chronic diarrhoea and venereal diseases. This acts as an appetizer. This cures rheumatism. This increases body heat and cures arthritis. This checks asthma and dysentery. This also exhibits the same medicinal properties as pepper.

வெள்ளை மிளகு, இது காடுகளில் வளரும் ஒரு வகை மரத்தினின்று கிடைக்கும் பழத்தின் கொட்டையேயாகும். ஒவ்வொரு பழத்திலும் இரண்டு கொட்டைகள் உண்டு. பழம் சிவந்த நிறமாயும், விதைகள் வெண்மை நிறமாயும் இருக்கும். இதனால் நாட்பட்டக் கழிச்சல், சுரம். மேகம் ஆகியவை போகும். பசி உண்டாகும். இது கபவாதத்தையும், சிலேத்தும் வாதத்தையும் நீக்கும். உஷ்ண வீரியமுள்ள வாதவலிக்கு குணம் தரும். ஆஸ்துமாவை தடுக்கும். சீதபேதிக்கு உதவும்.

மேலும் இதனை மிளகைப் போலவே வழங்கலாம்.
