Flower heads are Stimulant, Stalagogue, Vermifuge, Emollient and Deobstruent,

Uses:

Flower of this plant is of medicinal use. If this flower is chewed raw it relieves tooth ache. It cures headache and itching of the tongue due to paralysis. Stammering also could be cured if it is consumed regularly. It  . cures gingivitis.

வனமுகலிச்செடியின் பூக்கள் மருத்துவ பயனுடையது. பூக்களை மென்று தின்ன பல்வலி குறையும். மேலும் தலைவலி. பாரிச வாயுவினால் நாக்கு இழுத்துக் கொள்ளுதல் முதலியவை குணமாகும். திக்குவாயுடைய குழந்தைகளை தினமும் இதனை மெல்ல வைக்க குணமாகும் என கூறப்படுகிறது. மேலும் இதனால் ஈறு வீக்கம் குணப்படும்.
