Uses:
This is found in tropical places. Leaves roasted în castor oil is used externally to cure abscesses. Decoction of the leaves with castor oil if consumed in empty stomach it helps to clean the intestine along with diarrhoea. It cures rheumatism. The hot decoction is used externally to reduce the pain and inflammation of the joints. To cure paralysis this process to be continued for several days.
வாதநாராயணன் வெப்ப நாடுகளில் அதிகம் வளரும். இம்மரத்தின் இலை பல மருத்துவப் பயன்களையுடையது. இதன் இலையை சிற்றாமணக்கு எண்ணெயில் வதக்கி வீக்கங்கள் கட்டிகள் மீது கட்ட குணமாகும். இலைக்சஷாயத்துடன், சிற்றாமணக்கு எண்ணெய் சேர்த்து காலையில் வெறும்வயிற்றில் அருந்த பேதியுடன் உடம்பின் துர்நீர் வெளியேறும். வாதகுற்றங்கள் தன்னிலைப்படும். வாதப்பிடிப்பு வாய்வுப்பிடிப்பு உள்ள இடங்களில் இதன் கஷாயத்தை விட்டுக் கழுவ குணமாகும். பாரிசவாயு குணமாக இதையே பல நாட்களுக்கு தொடர்ந்து பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்.
