Action:
Plant is Stomachic, Alterative, Laxative.. Nervine, Tonic and Antirheumatic. Leaves are Vulnerary and Demulcent.
Uses:
Dyspepsia, rheumatism, intestinal gas, rigidityof the joints, nervous disorder, pruritis could be effectively treated with this. To treat above said diseases infusion of this plant is given. Paste of this plant is used externally for eczema and other minor skin ailments. Pepper and garlic is mixed with the paste and added in the milk. This mixture could be used to treat gleet. The ash of the plant mixed in. milk is used to treat jaundice. If this is mixed with cumin, it cures diabetes.
வெள்ளருகு செடியினால் குன்ம நோய், வாத நோய், குடல் வாயு, கீல் பிடிப்பு, நரம்புக் கோளாறுகள், தினவு, சிறு சிரங்கு ஆகியவை போகும். இந்நோய்கள் தீர இச்செடியின் குடிநீரை அருந்த வேண்டும்.
இதனை அரைத்து நமைச்சல், சிரங்கு முதலியவைகளுக்கு. மேற்பூச்சாக பூசலாம். இத்துடன் சிறிது மிளகும், ஒரு திரி பூண்டும். சேர்த்தரைத்து பாலில் கலக்கி சீழ் ஒழுகுகின்ற வெள்ளைக்கு வழங்கலாம். இதன் வேரும் புண் புரைகளை ஆற்றும்.
இதன் சமூலத்தை பாலில் கலந்து சாப்பிட காமாலை நோய் குணமாகும். இதையே சீரகத்துடன் சாப்பிட நீரிழிவு நோய் குணமாகும்.
