Uses:
This plant bears white or blue flowers. It checks bleeding. Seeds exhibit tonic properties. Root decoction is used in treating chronic ailments. Roots could be used as sarasaparilla roots. The root if consumed as paste along with milk it gives strength. The leaves if chewed gives strength to teeth and gums. This cures cough in pthisis. piles and diarrhoea.
நத்தைச்சூரி வெள்ளை அல்லது நீலநிறப் பூக்களையுடையது. இச்சிறிய செடி இரத்தப் போக்கை நிறுத்தும். விதைகள் தாது புஷ்டி யைக்கொடுக்கும். வேர்க்கஷாயம் பழைய ரோகங்களைப் படிப்படி யாகக் குறைக்கும். வேர் நன்னாரி வேரைப் போல் பயன்படுத்தப் படுகிறது. இவ்வேரை அரைத்து பாலுடன் அருந்த உடல் வலுக்கும். கிராணி கழிச்சல் போகும். இதன் இலையை வாயிலிட்டு மெல்ல ஈறுகளும், பற்களும் பலப்படும். இது கூய இருமல் நீக்கும். வாத நோய் தீர்க்கும்.
