Purgative, Emetic, Alterative, Stomachic, Rube facient and Vesicant.

Uses:

The latex of this plant is a good medicine for herpes, leprosy and other skin ailments like psoriasis. The Fecommended dose is only I to 2gms. For scorpion sting this latex is an ideal remedy. The bark of the plant is useful in treating nervous disorders and typhus fever. To treat the joint pains, the inner fleshy part of this plant is mixed with 2 teaspoon of mustard and it is powdered and heated. If this heated powder is used externally on the inflamed jointsm it relieves pain and inflammation.

சதுரக்கள்ளியினால் குன்மம், கிரந்தி, கரப்பான், கீல்பிடிப்பு முதலிய நோய்கள் குணப்படும். பாஷாணங்களை நீற்றும்.

இதன் பாவால் குஷ்டம், காணாக்கடி, சூலை. ஜலதோஷம். பாத வாதம், கபவாந்தி, அருசி ஆகியவை நீங்கும்.

இப்பாலை நன்கு உலர்த்திஅரைக் குன்றிமணியளவு உள்ளுக்கு சாப்பிட கழிச்சல் ஏற்படும். உடலுக்கு தெம்பு தரும். புளியும் சீரகமும் சேர்த்து இப்பாலுடன் அரைத்து சாப்பிட மூலநோய் உடையவர்களுக்கு கழிச்சல் ஏற்படும்.

மூட்டுக்களில் ஏற்படும் வீக்கங்களுக்கு இப்பாலைத்தடவி இதன் வேர்மண்ணை பாலின் மீது இட குணமாகும். இதன்பால் எல்லா தோல் நோய்களையும், புண்களையும், ரணங்களையும் ஆற்றும். வாதநோய்களையும் குணப்படுத்தும்.

சதுரக் கள்ளியின் சாற்றைப் பருகினால் கபநோய். குன்ம வயிற்று நோய் போன்றவை அகலும், இதன் சாற்றை மேலே தடவினால் சொறி, சிரங்கு, நமைச்சல் அகலும்.
