Anti-rheumatic, Antisyphilitic and Leaves are Anthelmintic.
Uses:
The root is useful in asthma, cough and scrofu-lous affections. The juice of the leaves and tender branches are used with ghee as an external application in herpetic erup-tions and pemphigus.
A resin obtained from the plant is employed for syphi-litic rheumatism.
இதன் வேர் ஆஸ்துமா, இருமல், கண்டமாலை ஆகியவற்றை குணப்படுத்தும். இதன் இலையிலிருந்தும், இளம் குருத்துகளிலிருந் தும் எடுக்கப்பட்ட சாற்றுடன் நெய் சேர்த்துக் குழைத்து படர்த் தாமரை, நீர்க் கொப்புளம் போன்றவற்றிற்கு தடவ குணமாகும்.
