Uses:

This plant is an ideal remedy for all the opthal-mic disorders. To cure eye disorders this leaf is consumed regularly along with butter. If this plant is regularly taken for 40 days, it improves the eyesight, cures cataract etc. It also cures liver disorder, stomatitis and bad breath. Moreover it gives relief in gonorrhoea heart burn ete, To curepiles this plant is consumed slong with garlic regularly. This gives complexion and strength to body. If the extract of the plant is used as shampoo, will give releif in eye problems and headache

பொன்னாங்கண்ணிக் கீரை கண் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட வாத காசம், கருவிழி நோய்கள் முதலியவற்றை குணமாக்க வல்லது. இக் கீரையை வெண்ணெய் சேர்த்து உண்ண கண் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட 96 வகையான வியாதிகள் நீங்கும். இக் கீரையை 40 நாட்கள் தொடர்ந்து சாப்பிட கண் பார்வை மங்கல், சாலேசுவரம், தூரப் பார்வை, திரைப் போட்டு மறைக்கும் கண் படலம் எல்லாம் விலகும். இக் கீரையை உண்பதால், வாய்ப்புண், வாய் நாற்றம், ஈரல் நோய், மூலச் சூடு, கை கால் எரிவு, உலர்த்து மேகம், வெள்ளை வயிற்றெரிச்சல், வாத தோடம். தேகச் சூடு முதலிய வியாதிகள் நீங்கும். இக் கீரையை பூண்டுடன் சேர்த்து வதக்கி சாப்பிட மூல நோய் குணமாகும். மேலும் உடல் வலுப் பெறும். உடலைப் பொன் நிறமாக மாற்றும். இக் கீரையின் தைலத்தை எடுத்து தலைமுழுகி வர கண்நோய்களும் வெப்ப நோய்களும் குணமாகும்.
