Action:
Leaves are Cooling and Mild Aperient. Refrigerant, Laxative, Stimulant and Tonic.
Uses:
This plant, if taken regularly cures asthma, enzema, indigestion, eye problems, stomach ache and back pain. If red tamarind, fig and grapes are mixed with this plant addiog milk, ghee and boiled and this mixture if consumed regularly gives strength and vitality. This plant also could be used as an external application to reduce oedema. It cures fatigue and gives energy.
வெந்தயக் கீரை இளம் பச்சை நிறமுடையது. இக் கீரையை சாப்பிட்டு வந்தால் நோய், சொறி, சிரங்கு, அஜீரணம்கோளாறு, பார்வைக்கோளாறு, வயிற்று நோய், குடலில் ஏற்படும் கடுப்பு நோய், இடுப்பு வலி போன்ற நோய்களுக்கு நல்ல மருந்தாகப் பயன்படுகிறது. இக் கீரையுடன் சீமைப்புளி, அத்திப்பழம், திராட்சை சேர்த்து பால்விட்டு அரைத்து நெய்விட்டு காய்ச்சி உண்ண உடலுக்கு வலிமையும், வனப்பும் தரும். இக் கீரையை அரைத்து சூடு செய்து வீக்கங்கள் மேல் தடவ வீக்கம் தணியும். சோம்பலைத் தவிர்த்து சுறுசுறுப்பை தரக்கூடிய அரும்பெரும் மருந்தாகவும் இது பயன்படுகிறது.
