Uses:
This plant is used in the medicinal preparation to cure venereal ulcers, disorders on the head, biliousness etc. The flower extract is used to prepare ‘Parpams’ (Calcinations). The flower extract decoction is also used to cure biliousness. headache, dryness of the mouth etc.
இது துஷ்டரணம், சிரஸ்தாடம், பித்ததோஷம், பலலித விஷம் போன்றவற்றை குணமாக்கும்.
இதன் பூச்சாற்றினால் பஸ்பங்கள் செய்யலாம். மிகவும் பித்த மாக இருந்தாள் இப்பூவைக் கொண்டு கஷாயம் செய்து சாப்பிட குணம் ஆகும்.இக்கஷாயம் தலைவலி, நாவறட்சி போன்றவற்றை போக்கும். இதனை மாதவிப் பூ என்றும் கூறுவர்.
