திரிதோஷம், வயிற்றுவலி, சீதபேதி, ரத்தம் விழுதல், குன்மம், பல்தோய் ஆயெவற்றை குணமாக்கும். பேதியைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தும். வெள்ளை ஒழுக்கு மருந்துகளில் இதனை துணை மருந்தாக பயன் படுத்துவர்.
