Uses:
The tuber of the plant is an ideal medicine for venereal diseases. This is also used in hair tonics. It gives relief from cough and phlegmatic diseases. The root reduces the body temperature. Therefore it is used as a refrigerant. The sharbat made out of the flower of this plant is also a coolant to body and it regulates the urine flow and acts as laxative. This is normally consumed by soaking the flower in the water for some time and filtered water is used fot drinking.
இதனை உற்பலம் என்றும் கூறுவர். இதன் கிழங்கு சர்வ மேகங்களையும் நீக்கும். புணர்ச்சியினால் உண்டான சூட்டை தணித்து குளிர்ச்சி தரும். கூந்தல் தைலங்களில் சேர்ப்பர். மேலும் இதனால் இருமல் பித்த நோய் போன்றவை நீங்கும்.
செங்கழுநீர் பூவினால் செய்யப்பட்ட சர்பத் உடலுக்கு குவீர்ச்சி தரும். மேலும் இது நீர்கட்டு, மலபந்தம் ஆகியவற்றை நீக்கும். இப்பூக்களைப் பறித்து தண்ணீரில் போட்டு அப்படியே ஊற வைத்து பின்பு பருக தாகம், உடல் உஷ்ணம் ஆகியவற்றை நீக்கும்.
