Action:

Root is Depurative, Diaphoretic, Stimulant.. Alterative, Antisyphilitic, Sudorific, Demulcent, Tonic and Aphrodisiac.

Uses:

Powdered bark in infusion cures thirstyness,

ulcers, carbuncle, diabetes, poisonous bites, fistula, paralysis, vomiting etc. The powder of the bark if consumed it cures. eczema, ulcers, syphilis, indigestion, diarrhoea, flatulance etc. Along with this bark, 8 gms. of following things are taken celeary. Indian aptees, nutmug, mace, cloves, dried ginger, pepper, goose berry, baleric myrobalan, myrobalan. These things are powdered and mixed with milk. This mixture is then roasted in ghee for 15 minutes. If this mixture is consu-med daily twice for 40 days, it cures herpes, ulcers, scrofula, rheumatism, gonorrhoea and other skin disorders.

பரங்கிப் பட்டையை பொடி செய்து குடிநீரிட்டுக் குடித்து வர நீர் வேட்கை, புண், பிளவை, நீரிழிவு, கடிவிடம், சிரங்கு, மூல முளை, முடக்குவாதம், வாந்தி ஆகியவை நீங்கும். ஆண்மை உண்டாகும்.

பரங்கிப் பட்டையைச் சூரணம் செய்துச் சாப்பிட புண். கரப் பான், சூலை, வெட்டை, மந்தம். அதிக கழிச்சல், கிராணி,உப்பு சம், வயிற்றிரைச்சல் தீரும்.பரங்கிப்பட்டை, ஓமம்,அதிவிடயம்,குரோ சானி, ஓமம்,சாதிக்காய். சாதிபத்தரி, கிராம்பு, சுக்கு, மிளகு, திரி பலை இலை வகைக்கு 8 கிராம் பொடி செய்து. பால் தளர விட்டுப் பிசைந்து, நெய்விட்டுக் கிளறி, அடுப்பில் வைத்து 15 நிமிடம் வெந்த பின், மெழுகுப் பதத்தில் கிண்டி, 40 நாள் சென்ற பின் தினம் இரு வேளை, 40 நாள் உட்கொள்ள கிரந்தி.புண், சூலை, கண்டமாலை. வளிநோய், வெள்ளை கொருக்கு, சரும நோய்களும் நீங்கும்.
