Bark is Refrigerant, mild Astringent, Uterine-Tonic, Antidote and Emmenagogue.

Uses:

Wood and bark of this tree is used in medicinal preparations. This is used in treating poisonous bites, ascites, irritation of the throat etc. Moreover diarrhoea, dysentery, anaemia, eye diseases, fever, ulcers, liver disorders, menorr-hagia and amenorrhoea could be treated. Infusion of the bark is used for the above said diseases. Bark along with liquo-arice, burnt alum, flower of Ervatamia coronaria are mixed and made into a paste. This paste is used externally on the eyes to cure eye diseases. Chiped wood is made into a decoction and it is used to cure gingivitis and it strengthens the teeth.

வெள்ளி லோத்ர மரத்தின் பட்டையும், கட்டையும் பல மருந்துகளில் சேர்க்கப்படுகிறது. இதனால் நஞ்சு, எலும்புருக்கி, பெருவயிறு, குரற்கம்மல் தீருவதுடன் பேதி, சீதபேதி, சோபை, கண்நோய், சுரம், புண்கள் ஈரலைப் பற்றிய பிணிகள், பெரும்பாடு

சூதகத்தடை முதலியவைகளும் இதனால் நீங்கும். இதன் பட்டை குடிநீர் மேற்கண்ட நோய்களைப் போக்கும்.

இதன் பட்டை, அதிமதுரம், பொரித்த படிகாரம், நந்தி யாவட்டைப் பூ இவைகளை அரைத்து கண்களைச் சுற்றிப் பற்றிட கண்நோய் விலகும்.

இதன் கட்டையை சிறிது சிறிதாக சீவிப்போட்டு கஷாயம் செய்து வாய் கொப்பளிக்க பல்லீறு பலப்படும். பல்லீற்றுப் புண்கள் குணமாகும்.
