Tender fruits are rich in vitamin and minerals.

Action:

Fruit is Febrifuge, Laxative, slightly Bitter and blood Purifier. Juice of the leaves and fruit is a Cholagogue and Aperient. Root is a Drastic Purgative. Leaves are Tonic and Febrifuge.

Uses:

It is very bitter in taste and not used in cooking. This is used in treating giddiness, jaundice, biliousness etc. Small pox is also treated with this.
