Uses:

This exhibits the same medicinal properties of piper longum. This cures headache, heaviness of the head catarrhal affections and hoarseness. This acts as an appetizer. tonic and aphrodisiac. This is found to be very effective in Cold and other pulmonary disorders. This is powdered and mixed with honey if taken cures flatulence and diarrhoea.
